Under the leadership of its Party Committee, the Binh Duong Industrial Investment and Development Corporation (Becamex IDC) overcame challenges and created great breakthroughs between 2005 and 2010, contributing to the evolution of Binh Duong in particular and of Vietnam in general.

The education work about political thought is always seen as an important step among the leadership resolutions of Becamex IDC’s Party Executive Committee. In the 2005 and 2010 tenure, the Party Committee of Becamex IDC, therefore, created favorable conditions for all Party members and staff herein to thoroughly grasp the Party and State’s resolutions, instructions and laws.

The Party Committee also effectively implemented the “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” campaign. After three-year implementation of the campaign, the Party Committee, its 5 Party cells and 20 individuals were praised for their good performance in the campaign.

As of May 2010, the number of Party cells under the Party Committee of Becamex IDC amounted to 15 with 112 Party members. Since 2005, the Party Committee of Becamex IDC has always been recognized as a pure and strong Party organization. Its Party cells and Party members were also awarded the certificates of merit…Moreover, the Party Committee mobilized businesses to set up a Youth Union branch in the VSIP with 84 members, 5 youth sub-unions with 76 members…

Such these apart, Becamex IDC, under the leadership of its Party Committee, got a total revenue of VND836bln in 2005, up 129% of the projection. In 2009, its total revenue reached VND3.198trillion, up 178% of the projection. It also obtained VND730bln in profit and paid over VND1.000trillion for State budget. So far, its total capital has increased to more than VND2.000trillion.

Over the past five years, Becamex IDC built and invested lots of works which was  great significance for the province’s industrialization process. It also got involved in fields of production, health, education, telecommunication…and contributed over 40% of total projects and investment capital for the province’s industrial development.

For achievements done, Becamex IDC was last year awarded the third-class Independence Medal; two individuals also received the third-class Independence Medals; many other individuals and collectives were awarded the certificates of merit from the Government PM, provincial People’s Committee…The above successes came from corporation staff and solidarity, flexibility, creativeness under the leadership of the Party Committee.
