Attending the opening ceremony were Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Van Chanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, provincial departments, agencies, and leaders of industry associations, domestic investment enterprises in the province.

To help building a healthy e-commerce market in Binh Duong and support businesses to catch up with developments, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities, Provincial People's Committee assigned Department of Industry and Trade to build E-commerce platform to link, exchange and cooperate between economic sectors and consumers, implement programs to support businesses from participating in to doing business, operating on the internet.

Binh Duong E-commerce Platform is designed as a B2B (business to business), B2C (business to consumer) and C2C (consumer to consumer) e-commerce trading floor in order to meet the needs not only of businesses and households but also of consumers as well.

Through Binh Duong E-commerce Floor, businesses are able to create booths and information channels to display specific information about the business and information about products that businesses want to introduce to consumers. Each booth is managed by each respective business, is allowed to post product information about the business, advertise, PR brand. In addition, Binh Duong E-commerce Platform helps consumers and partners have opportunities to learn about the business as well as products and services provided by the business.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Vo Van Minh emphasized that in recent years, the e-commerce market had become dynamic; the application of technology and building a new distribution channel was becoming an effective way to help businesses overcome difficulties.
