In the morning of December 21, at Binh Duong provincial Exhibition and Convention Center, the provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee held a conference of provincial leaders and leaders of associations and domestic investment enterprises in 2021. In 2021, despite being greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, under the synchronous and drastic implementation of the proposed measures, so far the province's COVID-19 prevention and control has achieved remarkable results to recover most of the activities of social life, production and business. In the economic field, the province's gross domestic product (GRDP) was estimated to increase by 2.62% over the previous year; GRDP per capita was VND 152.25 million. The province's trade surplus reached USD 6.8 billion. These results are a combination of many factors including the contribution of the domestic investment business community, trade associations and trade unions in the province.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Vo Van Minh affirmed that Binh Duong would not let the epidemic break out in the current stage and recommend that businesses to give priority to COVID-19 prevention and control by absolutely not to be subjective, neglect, lose vigilance, and would make the best efforts to control the disease to proactively forecast and perfect epidemic prevention and control scenarios and plans in line with the new situation under the motto of "Safe adaptation, flexibility, and effective control of the COVID-19 epidemic."

The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee said that in order to create favorable conditions for businesses to develop sustainably, the province focuses on mobilizing domestic and foreign capital sources to invest in fields with diverse forms, especially important traffic projects, upgrading and developing transport infrastructure, urban development, smart city, and information technology. The province also focuses on compensation and site clearance, especially investment procedures for Vanh Dai 3, Vanh Dai 4 and Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh highways, and improvement project of National Highway 13, and the housing development plan for 2021-2025.
