She explained that they are clean tomatoes, ensuring food safety and hygiene. She shared ‘I feel happy to witness my relatives enjoying delicious and safe meals’. Therefore, she always chooses food with clear origin.
Like Mrs. Hoa, other housewives have gradually created a good habit of using safe food. Recently, more and more shops introduce safe food and clean vegetables. Mrs. Hong, the owner of a grocery in Phu Hoa ward said she gives top priorities to choose clean food with clear origin to sell for her clients. Her shop has lured more and more regular customers, despite price hike.
Housewives bound for supermarkets
Amid misconducts of food safety and hygiene are found out, housewives have changed to buy goods in supermarkets. Mrs. Huong in Phu Cuong ward said she often buy food at supermarkets because goods herein ensures clear origin.
At Fivimart, Citimart, Vinatex and so on, the number of customers buying fresh food is very huge. To meet the rising demand, local supermarkets surge goods.
However, the number of shops selling safe food remains limited, especially in rural areas. And, safe food provision remains restricted, so customers still face worries about food safety and hygiene.
