Facing the complicated situation of Covid-19 epidemic, to ensure essential goods to serve the people on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2021 and to minimize the crowds of people at markets, supermarkets, and trade centers, the Steering Committee for Disease Control and Prevention of Di An city has directed relevant units to actively build plans to reserve and distribute essential goods to ensure local sources of goods and to stabilize market prices to serve people during Lunar New Year 2021 and service Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.

In particular, the steering committee asked absolutely not to let people (especially those reside where lockdown and separation are in place to prevent and fight against the Covid-19 epidemic) lack of food and essential goods to serve their everyday needs and welcome the traditional New Year.

Di An city authority is currently quarantining 46 cases of epidemiological factors, of whom, 19 people are isolated at the city health center and 27 people are isolated in An Binh ward. At home isolation is enforced on 1,025 people. The steering committee and wards are ready to deal with the situations to ensure absolute safety in disease prevention before, during, and after the Lunar New Year 2021. Continual updates of the epidemic situation are maintained to prepare facilities, medical equipment, supplies, and human resources to be ready to respond when an outbreak may occur.
