An awards ceremony for the best artisans at the fruit arrangement contest of the Southern Fruit Festival 2010 took place on June 6.

At the contest, there were 20 artisans from southern Binh Duong province, 5 of whom excellently received awards. In the group B, artisan Le Ngoc Diep of Thuan An district’s Binh Hoa commune won the gold medal with the artwork named “Four sacred animals welcome 1,000 years of Thanh Long” (photo). Two other artisans Nguyen Hoang Chau of Thuan An district’s Vinh Phu commune with the artwork of “Mountainous dragons and while tigers welcome southern fruit festival” and Le Thanh Trang of Thuan An district’s Binh Hoa commune with the artwork of “Everlastingly remembering Uncle Ho” grasped two bronze medals.

In the group A, artisan Nguyen Thanh Giau of Ben Cat district’s An Dien commune won the bronze medal with the artwork of “Ho Chi Minh, the world’s cultural celebrity”. Whilst, in the group C, artisan Le Ngoc Bich of Thuan An district’s Binh Hoa commune snatched the bronze medal with the artwork of “Welcoming World Cup 2010”.
