To welcome the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi and Vietnam-Binh Duong Porcelain Festival 2010 to be held on Sept. 2-9, 2010, the provincial Porcelain Association under the main sponsor of Minh Long I Ltd. held the “Ideas for porcelain product design and decoration” contest.

The contest is to create new ideas to enrich local porcelain products. Accordingly, the organizing board also wants to help residents learn about the local traditional porcelain industry.

The contest will be launched nationwide. Candidates at all ages can join in the contest. With the theme of “Blowing soul into soil”, candidates will have to decorate and design porcelain products. The contest will run till Aug. 15, 2010 with valuable prizes.

Design models qualified the final round will be displayed at an exhibition named “porcelain and colorful world”, part of the Vietnam-Binh Duong Porcelain Festival 2010.
