Industrial production value in January-April reaches over VND28,547bil

The local industrial production value in April reached VND7,347.8bil, a 5% increase from last month. Products winning a fair increase in April included cashew nut 14.4%, instant noddle 8.8%, footwear 6.5%, auto 9%, paper 14.9% and so on.

The remarkable results in April lifted the industrial production value in the first four months of this year up to VND28,547bil, a 18.5% rise from 2009. Accordingly, industrial production values of local and foreign economic sector achieved VND9,228bil and VND19,318bil, respectively.
