Local businesses resume their work drastically

Most of local businesses resumed their work yesterday. Aside from traditional rituals of kylin-dragon dance, Tet greetings and so on, professional and modern working style is the highlighted feature in most of enterprises.  

At 3a.m of Feb. 22, An Hung Tuong Steel Company in Ben Cat district held a ceremony to resume its work. After the tradition rituals, all departments started their activities amid excitement.

At Nam Kim Steel Company, after a get-together and Tet greetings from the company leaders, 170 staff resumed their work with a high determination. In the first working day, Ho Minh Quang, general director of the company said the company in 2010 targets to run at maximum capacity at its existing factory, a 20% rise from last year and to focus on building its second factory at Dong An II IP with the first phase’s investment capital of VND500bil.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Thanh Trung, general director of Dong A Steel Company said despite the global economic crisis in 2008, the company marketshare still increased from 12% to 17%. The company targets to rise 20% in marketshare with the output of 90,000 tons. Till the third quarter of 2010, it will open a color plated steel producing line of 100,000 tons per year.

Also the same day, Minh Long I Porcelain Ltd. resumed its work in jubilant ambience. Ly Ngoc Minh, general director of the company believed that with hi-unity of staff, the company would overcome challenges and continue reaping higher results than last year.

At 10 a.m of Feb. 22, there were 163 import-export declarations with total turnover of US$3.3mil at Vietnam-Singapore IP Custom Bureau.

After the Lunar New Year holiday, most of local companies resumed their activities synchronously with a jubilant ambience and high determination.
