To create an attractive investment environment
In recent years, the district has focused on the administrative procedure reform, building a friendly government for locals and businesses in order to improve competitiveness and improve the investment business environment. Accordingly, the district checked and solved shortcomings and inadequacies that hindered businesses from accessing documents and regulations related to land procedures, investment approval, decentralization and authorization in investment. In particular, the district made an effort to complete institutional roles and responsibilities of all administrative levels and heads, enhanced administrative reform, applied information technology and heightened the role of public administrative center.
In addition, transport system in the area received good investment to create favorable conditions for commuting and developing production and business. Key traffic works are being accelerated, such as the upgrade and expansion of DT746 road, the section from Tan Thanh junction to Hoi Nghia junction; Thu Bien - Dat Cuoc road, North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang highway...
Thái Thanh Bình, Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of People's Committee of North Tan Uyen district, said that in order to create an attractive investment environment, the district is always interested in creating the most favorable conditions to attract investors in production development, doing business in the area. Local business investment environment has been improved in a positive way, especially the handling of administrative procedures and land clearance for construction projects have been on schedule. All levels and sectors are always ready to meet and discuss with enterprises to promptly solve difficulties and obstacles in their operations.
First effects
Thanks to strong leadership and flexible implementation of preferential policies, improvments of investment environment, North Tan Uyen has achieved remarkable initial success. Over the first quarter of 2021, provincial Department of Planning and Investment granted 7 new business registration certificates to enterprises in the district, with a total capital of 44.72 billion VND. Accumulated up to now, the district has 585 companies with granted business registration certificates, with a total investment capital of 9,623 billion VND.
In order to promote local strengths, utilize resources, and shift economic structure into the right direction, the district focuses on attracting investment in industrial development. In particular, the district encouraged investment in industrial zones and clusters with complete infrastructure, investment in high-tech industries, industries applying scientific and technical advances, advanced and environmentally friendly technologies. Three industrial zones were formed in the district: Tan Binh, Dat Cuoc, Tan Lap, and Tan My industrial cluster.
Pham Ngoc Uy, Chairman of Dat Cuoc commune People's Committee, said that at present, Dat Cuoc Industrial Park has 67 companies, of which 59 have been in operation and 8 are under construction. Also according to the commune administration, companies in industrial parks are in fields, such as ceramic pottery, wood, leather shoes, plating... Enterprises such as An Cuong Wood Company, Tue Minh Steel Company etc. are efficient manufacturers that have created jobs for workers with good wages.
North Tan Uyen also focuses on investing in the construction of residential areas, commercial housing, social housing to better meet the demand of accommodation and residential land in the area, creating urban beauty in North Tan Uyen. Up to now, the district has attracted investment in 11 residential and commercial housing projects. Namely, housing areas in Quang Phuc 3, Binh My 1, Binh My 2 (Binh My commune), Tan Thanh (Tan Thanh town)...
It can be said that investment activities have boosted the district's stable economic growth, helped economic structure shift to the right direction, and people's lives have had many good changes. hai Thanh Binh added that, in the past years, despite many difficulties, the district's socio-economic areas has gained many important results, main targets were all met and exceeded the set plan. Industrial production alone, over the first 4 months of 2021, accumulated VND 1,604 billion, up 13.2% over the same period last year.
