So far, North Tan Uyen district has developed 67 cultivation farms with a total area of around 1,269 hectares.
The district’s average agricultural production value is around VND78.3million per hectare per year. The district’s citrus fruit tree value is between VND500million-VND800million per hectare per year. Orange, tangerine and pomelo are three citrus fruit kinds winning the certificates of collective trademark from the National Office of Intellectual Property, creating the local special agricultural products.
Over the past time, the district also attached special importance to making sci-tech transfer in cultivation for hi-economic efficiency. The district will continue promoting nurslings with high productivity and quality; boost trade promotion and popularization for the local collective trademarks; foster the local advantageous crop plants in association with realizing the Project on “One commune, One product”; set up linkage programs between businesses, cooperatives, and farmers towards a sustainable consumption market; built a market information channel for the local main fruit products…
