According to provincial Department of Planning and Investment, the whole province has so far lured 51,624 enterprises with total registered capital of more than VND486.66 trillion.

In the first 6 months of 2021, there were 3 sectors with the highest number of new registrations and the highest registered capital in economic sectors. Particularly, wholesale and retail sector; car and motorcycle repairing had 1,018 enterprises (up 21.92% over the same period) with total registered capital of more than VND4.52 trillion (up 34.91% against the same period). Processing and manufacturing industry absorbed 679 enterprises (up 39.71% compared to the same period) with total registered capital of more than VND 3.67 trillion (up 72.29% against the same period) while real estate trading attracted 200 enterprises (up 43.88% over the same period) with total registered capital of more than VND3.12 trillion (up 34.51% compared to the same period).

The scale of enterprises entering the market also continued increasing. The average registered capital per enterprise was VND 6.74 billion, up 12.2% over the same period last year. Thuan An city continued having the highest number of newly established enterprises with 653 or 22.60% of the province’s total number of newly-established enterprises and registered capital of more than VND3.88 trillion or 19.96% of the province’s total registered capital amount. It was followed by Thu Dau Mot city with 634 newly-established enterprises or 21.95% of the province’s total number of newly-established enterprises and registered capital of more than VND 5.47 trillion or 28.10% of the province’s total registered capital amount.
