Many farmers have bravely applied sci-tech

advancements in production, raising the quality of products.

Provincial Farmers’ Society today, June 11, organizes the third conference highlighting outstanding farmers in the 2005 and 2010 period and partially sum up the implementation of the “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” campaign among farmers. At the conference, 14 collectives and 146 individuals will be praised for their good performance in the patriotic emulation movement.

 Between 2005 and 2010, farmers in the province actively responded to the patriotic emulation movements, especially those of “good farmers in production and business” and “farmers helping each other in economic development”.

There were 124,467 farmer households registering to take part in the “good farmers in production and business” emulation movement and 124,467 of them were awarded the title of “good farmer in production and business”. Among these typical farmers, many not only knew ways to get rich, but also got involved in social charity activities, namely Vu Thi Tuat in Dau Tieng district, Nguyen Quang Tren in Phu Giao district, Nguyen Binh Dung in Ben Cat district…

According to provincial Farmers’ Society Chairman Nguyen Hoang Vinh, the patriotic emulation movement has been deeply and widely implemented by the affiliates of provincial Farmers’ Society, in association with the “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” campaign. Many outstanding collectives and individuals have also been discovered from the movement, including Di An district’s Farmers’ Society, Dau Tieng district’s Farmers’ Society, Nguyen Thi Buu Hue in Di An district, Nguyen Thi Kim Lang in Thuan An district…

Noticeably, there have appeared many outstanding farmers in studying and following Uncle Ho’s teaching. They are those who have known to apply sci-tech advancements in agricultural production for better results. Thanks to this, many farmers have gained the annual average income of hundreds of million of dong and above such as Phung Van Thuc in Phu Giao district, Tong Van Huong in Dau Tieng district, Nguyen Van Giau in Ben Cat district…
