In 2020, province-based Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP) branch implemented preferential loan packages for needy laborers. Of these, there was a loan package of VND50billion from the province’s Trade Union for laborers hit by Covid-19 pandemic with the annual interest rate of 2%.

So far, 2,312 workers have handed in applications for preferential loans at 63 enterprises in the province. Accordingly, province-based CEP branch has provided more than VND11.6billion for laborers. Of these, VND4.1billion was provided for 820 borrowers from TDM city’s CEP branch.
