Vo Van Duc, vice director of the provincial Bank for Social Policies said implementing the Government’s loan subsidy policy for drivers of unlicensed three- and four-wheeled modified vehicles, as many as 824 poor households and sub-poor families living on the vehicles have so far qualified for loans worth over VND22.125bil. The bank disbursed over VND2bil.

Earlier, the provincial People’s Committee steered localities to complete assessment of loan subsidy for the drivers on the deadline of March 31. However, according to Duc, Phu Giao district has yet to finalize concrete reports.
