Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company (JSC) in the first quarter of 2011 secured nearly VND254bln in total profit, or 41% of this year’s plan; paid more than VND78bln for State budget, said Deputy General Director of the company Le Phi Hung. This was also the high business result done by the JSC over the past years.

In the first quarter of 2011, the company exploited 3,875 tons of rubber latex or 19.37% of this year’s plan; purchased more than 1,000 tons of rubber latex and processed 4,879 tons of finished rubber products. The company also sold 6,283 tons of finished rubber products with the average price of VND95.965mln per ton, helping it secure a total revenue of VND606bln.

General Director of Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC Nguyen Van Tan added that the units with capital contribution from Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC have step by step obtained stable operation. Particularly, Truong Phat Rubber JSC processed 3,521cu.m of timber and sold 3,130 cu.m of timber with a total revenue of VND20bln. Phuoc Hoa-Kampong Thom Rubber Development Co.Ltd. reclaimed 3,000 ha of land in Cambodia and prepares to grow 2,500 ha of rubber in the second quarter of 2011. So far, the company has grown 2,521 ha of rubber in Cambodia.
