Le Viet Dung, deputy director of provincial Department of Planning and Investment yesterday said that representatives of tens of businesses registered their production and trade activities at the department on the first working day of the Lunar New Year 2010. In 2010, Binh Duong expects to have nearly 100 FDI projects and hundreds of domestic investment projects in operation. It has also set a goal to lure US$1bln in FDI this year.

The same day, Nguyen Thi Dien, director of provincial Department of Planning and Investment predicted that the province’s key industries like garment, woodwork…will further keep their growth with high turnover. Industries with many potentialities like mechanics, electricity-electronics, food processing…will also rise up to dominate the market at the domestic demand.
