According to provincial People’s Committee, the whole province drew nearly VND2.4trillion in domestic investment capital in the first quarter of 2011, including VND1.68bln from 266 new projects and VND707bln from extra-ones. Thus, the whole province has so far lured 12,525 domestic businesses with a total registered capital of VND88.5trillion.

Also during the time, the whole province attracted additional US$292.3mln in FDI capital, including US$14.8mln from 22 new FDI projects and US$146.5mln from 31 extra-ones. Thus, the whole province has so far drawn 2,021 FDI projects capitalized at US$13.872mln.
