The province’s export turnover in the first half of 2010 was estimated to reach US$3.4bln, up 19.5% compared to the same period last year. Of the total figure, State-owned businesses increased by 31.2%, non-State businesses reduced by 0.9% and FDI ones saw growth of 24.6%.
Some products with the great export quota still maintained their growth compared to the same period, including cashew nut (up 30.1%), pepper (up 29.5%), rubber (up 21.6%), garment-textile (up 47.6%), footwear (up 8.1%)…But, many products saw reduction in export turnover such as coffee (down 51.8%), fine arts and handicrafts (down 27.2%)…The main reason for the reduction was that there were no orders for these products and some companies with the great export capacity temporarily stopped working.
The whole province has so far had 652 businesses directly exporting their products into 36 countries and territories.
