Province’s Tax aims for 30% cut of administrative procedures

 

In yesterday morning’s review meeting, Binh Duong Tax has reported budget collection of VND 9,910 billion or 121% of estimated amounts adjusted by People’s Council despite economic downturns.

 

The collection resulted from analysis and assessment of last year’s budget estimation in line with socio-economic development of specific locality. Those tax agencies at the grassroots have been assigned tasks to collect the budget following up local authority’s budget estimation.

 

As a result, all the tax agencies and offices have collected the budget higher than projection.

 

Besides, about 10/14 collection categories have bypassed estimation of Finance Ministry. As for tax exemption, deduction, extension and return, enterprises have ensured the schedule and favorable business conditions.

 

The meeting has also implement the tax collecting tasks in 2010 with objectives to bypass State’s allocated budgeting. Accordingly, to facilitate bodies and individuals to pay the tax in 2010, province’s Tax will reform its system by cutting 30% of administrative procedures along with reviews of procedure reduction in fields of granting business licenses and registration which will offer chances for organizations and individuals to engage in investment and business development.

 

Addressing the meeting, Vice Chair of People’s Committee Le Thanh Cung has praised up achievements of the tax sector in 2009 and suggested to boost up state budget collecting.
