Working staff of Song Than Customs.

Song Than Customs Office has become a modern agency contributing to state budget by mottos of “Advantages-Devotion-Accuracy” and “enterprises’ companion” through out its management of Song Than Industrial Parks, Dong An, Tan Dong Hiep, Tan Uyen, Binh Duong Port, and nearby localities.

Binh Duong Customs and Song Than Customs Office have distinctively reformed operation to become “e-Customs” to facilitate remote declaration to reduce 30-minute procedure into 2-minute procedure with minimal errors.

By now, all declaration documents through Song Than Customs are remote processing to avoid stuck at cashiers. Operative effectiveness of Customs and enterprise community, therefore, is enhanced to unify operations.

Despite severe hit of economic downturn in 2009, policy to attract investment and administrative reforms have helped some 386 enterprises to complete import-export requirements to achieve USD 1.43bln of export turn-over. Beside favorable conditions for enterprises and budget boosting, Song Than Customs Office has promoted re-collection of budget debts.

Tax collection transferred to state budget has reached VND 1,034bln or 39% of allocated projection. During the reform and modernization of Customs system, the office has changed fee charges through the Treasury instead of direct charges.
