Under the local plan on socio-economic development in 2022, Binh Duong strives to increase the index of industrial production (IIP) by 8.9% compared to 2021. To achieve this goal, the province will continue promoting industrial restructuring on the basis of application of technical advancements, technological improvement, digital transformation and achievements of the 4th industrial revolution; prioritize the development of a number of spearheading industries, high-tech and auxiliary ones; soon establish high-tech IPs, specialized industries and gradually form up the Innovation Region.

Along with the efforts by the business community in Covid-19 prevention and control, promoting production and business activities, provincial People's Committee, departments, sectors and local authorities are also making efforts to help enterprises regain their momentum of industrial production growth right from the first months of 2022.
