The provincial People’s Council inspection delegation led by Nguyen Thi Ha, head of the provincial Economic and Budget Committee paid a working session to Becamex IDC on May 28 to learn about the planning progress of Binh Duong urban-industry and service complex.

After 5 years of launching the project, many problems relating to compensation and site clearance and resettlement were solved. 6 out of 7 main routes, 4 main water drainage canals with a total length of 24km as well as all resettlement areas were completed. 1 out of 7 industrial parks in the complex are under tenancy, the remaining IPs have lured investors.

The biggest difficulty is that some households ignore removal whilst tangled electronic network badly impacted on investment.

On behalf of the delegation, Mrs.Ha pledged to send the problems to competent units for settlement.
