According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s index of industrial production (IIP) in October 2020 surged 6.4% and 12.23% compared to the previous month and the same period last year.

The figure over the past 10 months increased by 6.77% against the same period last year. Of these, mining industry decreased by 11.2% while manufacturing, processing industry grew by 6.84%; production and distribution of electricity by 9.83%; water supply, sewage and waste treatment by 11.21%.
