Seeking measures to promote Vietnamese fruits

As part of the first Vietnam Fruit Festival, a national seminar was held on April 20 to discuss opportunities and challenges for Vietnamese fruit growers during the international economic integration process.

Through reports, participants said that Vietnam has a great potential for fruit growing but there are lots of difficulties and challenges on food safety and hygiene, marketing, trademark-building…for change. Therefore, the seminar was a chance to consider shortcomings and  seek measures to develop the fruit-growing areas nationwide, especially the Mekong Delta region.
