Tan Uyen district’s industrial production value in the first half of 2021 was estimated at more than VND11.58 trillion VND, up 11.86% over the same period last year.

Of these, the domestic economic sector gained more than VND3.86 trillion, up 10.74% compared to the same period last year while the foreign investment sector reached more than VND7.72 trillion, up 12.43% against the same period last year. Up to now, the town has implemented the 2021 economic census, completing the survey for non-business units and reaching 90% for enterprises.

In the coming time, the town will focus on mobilizing all resources to curb Covid-19 pandemic, steadfastly implementing the "dual goals" of Covid-19 prevention-control and socio-economic development in order to fulfill the local targets on socio-economic development in 2021.
