A ceremony to open the Thu Bien bridge connecting Tan Uyen district’s Thuong Tan commune in Binh Duong province and Vinh Cuu district’s Tan An commune in Dong Nai province was held on May 19, in attendance of the leaders and residents of the two provinces.

The Thu Bien bridge is 511m long and 17m wide with a total cost of more than VND162bln and its construction was commenced from March 2007. This is also a key traffic work to meet the local people’s demand for traveling and contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of Binh Duong’s Tan Uyen district and Dong Nai’s Vinh Cuu district.
