In the first quarter of 2021, livestock production in Bau Bang district has developed stably. The whole district had 341 livestock farms including 219 pig farms of 5 pig farming including 19,387 pigs of foreign investments, 65 private farms, 1 farm at the Research Center on big cattle at Cau Sat hamlet in Lai Hung commune which raises 559 cattle of 107 buffaloes, 45 yaks and 395 goats, 121 poultry farms of which 29 are private farms.

On the other hand, on ensuring food hygiene and safety, Bau Bang district Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Station always examines the veterinary hygiene of the livestock farms. At the same time, it is urged that livestock establishments, slaughterhouses and households with stalls selling animal products at the market to always ensure food hygiene and safety.
