Vietnam-Binh Duong Porcelain & Pottery Festival 2010 to kick off in September

*Hundreds of ancient porcelain-pottery items on display

Early June 23, southern Binh Duong province held a press conference to announce the Vietnam-Binh Duong Porcelain & Pottery Festival 2010 in HCM city (photo).

The festival entitled “Vietnamese porcelain and pottery-tradition, character and development” will take place in TDM town from September 2 to 9 with the participation of porcelain-pottery companies in and out of the country.

The festival will feature a lot of attractive programs, including a trade fair and festive night named “Thang Long-Viet pottery”; an exhibition on hundreds of ancient porcelain and pottery items over periods; fashion-music shows….

Provincial vice-chairman Nguyen Van Hiep said that this is Vietnam’s first porcelain-pottery festival hosted by Binh Duong to honor the national porcelain-pottery industry over periods. This is also one of the substantial activities to celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of Thanh Long-Ha Noi.
