In the morning of September 6, Binh Duong provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) held a workshop on digital transformation solutions to agricultural production management.

Digital transformation in agriculture is an opportunity and the key to realize the goal of farmers producing quality agricultural products at the lowest cost but to be sold at the highest prices. However, at present, most of the staff involved in the management of agricultural production are those with technical expertise, so they do not fully understand what digital transformation is, and do not understand what needs to be done to conduct digital transformation.

At the seminar, experts and reporters from information technology specialized units and enterprises and expert providers of services and solutions for digital transformation have supported and guided information, knowledge and skills about digital transformation for civil servants, public employees and technicians involved in product management of agricultural producers, business owners and cooperatives in the province.

Delegates also exchanged, discussed and asked questions to acquire knowledge, skills and digital transformation solutions; thereby, receiving many solutions, initiatives and implementation plans to concretize the goals and target digital transformation activities of the agricultural sector in the coming time.
