On the afternoon of March 25, Nguyen Thanh Truc, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired an online conference on Thai investment promotion, which was co-held by the Embassy of Vietnam in Thailand, the Thai Industrial Federation and Becamex IDC together with relevant units. At the bridges on the Thai side, there were the Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand, the Thai Industrial Federation, the Vietnam - Thailand Business Association, representatives of Becamex IDC in Thailand and more than 100 Thai investors.

At the conference, representatives of relevant departments and sectors answered queries relating to auxiliary industries,  investment promotion policies for start-up activities,  infrastructure investment…by Thai businesses that want to learn about opportunities for cooperation and investment in the province ... Mr. Truc said that despite facing many difficulties, due to Covid-19 pandemic, the province last year still maintained economic growth. The province is also actively expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation relations in many fields.

He hoped that the province will continue receiving active cooperation from the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, the Business Association of the two countries and the Thailand Industrial Federation in order to enhance bilateral cooperation and expand multilateral cooperation in the coming time. The province always considers Thailand as an important investment partner and wants Thai investors to learn about the local investment climate for cooperation in the coming time.

It is known that the province has so far lured 39 projects from Thailand with total capital of over US$ 647.5 million, ranking 13th among 65 countries and territories making investment herein.
