Excellent businesses receive Labor Orders, merit certificates from PM and provincial People’s Committee on Dec. 31 evening.

Along with local development, Binh duong enterprises have played an important role in industrialization and modernization, positively contributing to turn the province into the country’s leading industrial locality. Entering 2010, local businesses continue to uphold their capacity.

Local businesses have contributed to change the province’s image. In terms of infrastructure facility building, Becamex IDC Corp. is a business leading in creating a new urban area with modern industrial parks such as My Phuoc 1,2,3 or Binh Duong industry-service-urban complex, Binh Duong new city luring local and outbound investors. Besides, Binh Duong Avenue invested by the Corp is considered as an impetus for local industrial development. At present, My Phuoc – Tan Van Road under construction has helped shrink distance to sea ports in HCMC, Dong Nai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces. Besides, businesses of Dai Nam, Biconsi, Genimex… have played a crucial role in building traffic roads, industrial parks’ infrastructure facilities and Binh Duong urban area…

As for production and business and service fields, numerous enterprises have greatly contributed to the State budget and placed jobs for hundreds of thousands of laborers inside and outside of the province. To say, Thai Binh Shoes Ltd, Binh Duong Garment and Textile Co., Truong Thanh Furniture Corp, Ba Nhat Cooperatives, Dau Tieng Rubber Co, Phuoc Hoa Rubber Co, Hoa Sen Group, Dong A Steel… have offered jobs and stable incomes for countless laborers.

The province has many famous companies such as U&I, Thanh Le, Minh Long… Industrial development has helped develop financial field, resulting in the birth of numerous commercial banks of Sacombank, Techcombank, Dong A, ACB, HSCB, Dai A, VIB, An Binh and among others. In addition, foreign companies under operation in the province have offered jobs for many laborers, contributing to local development.

At the 13rd anniversary of Binh Duong province’s re-establishment and Binh Duong Business Day on the night of Dec.31, numerous local businesses were honored for their contributions to the local development. Linh Giang, management director of Shyang Hung Cheng in Thuan An district boasted “I’m very happy to receive merit certificate from the local People’s Committee. I realize the local administration’s great attention to businesses, creating more efforts for our company”.

Entering 2010, many local companies have made good preparations of human resources, strategy… The 2009 Binh Duong Furniture and Handicraft Expo was the evidence for the preparations.

Besides, U&I Corp’s first interior supermarket was put into operation in Di An district with the cost of VND50bil. Truong Thanh Furniture Corp has perfected its development strategies. Vo Truong Thanh, director of the Corp, said the Corp focuses on investing in equipment and technology and laborer training in 2010. Its staple markets of the US, Japan, Germany…, the Corp will actively seek new ones of Australia, Spain… It reached some orders from the Middle East nations in last year. Meanwhile, Hoa Sen Group has built many projects of sea port, real estate…      

Speaking at the anniversary, provincial chairman Nguyen Hoang Son stressed that many local businesses make greater efforts to overcome difficulties and maintain their business and production, despite the global economic crisis. Besides, they urged their partners and friends to invest in the province. The provincial People’s Committee always lauds and acknowledges businesses’ efforts and contributions. This is also an encouragement to create new impetus for businesses to enter 2010 and subsequent years.
