In a joyful celebration of the 13th National Party Congress, the 91st anniversary of Communist Party of Vietnam, and Lunar New Year 2021, Binh Duong Newspaper met and noted down opinions and expectations of business people in the province about a new development path of the country.

* Le Minh Quoc Viet, Director of Binh Duong Electricity Company:

The success of the 13th National Party Congress, Party Committee, collective, and employees of Binh Duong Electricity Company believe that the convention would opening up a new period of development with a brighter future for the country. The new Party Central Committee will continue to promote solidarity among the whole Party, the entire people, the entire army, unify the will and actions, successfully implement targets set out by Party Congress's resolutions to stimulate Vietnam move forward quickly, strongly, steadily, and become prosperous. Through the congress's documents, especially Political Report, I found that content of the reports mentioned accurately, especially socio-economic development contents, Party building work, building the political system as well as the analysis, assessment and recognition of limitations and shortcomings. This shows that the Party has looked directly at the truth and be open to opinions and ideas of people from all walks of life at home and abroad, businesses and the whole society.

* Nguyen Thanh Nghia, Director of Dai Thien Loc Joint Stock Company:

In the past 5 years, in addition to the overall successes in socio-economic development of the country, the Party and the Government had many policies and solutions to support business development, which was manifested by trade agreements signed, creating a new and equal playing field for Vietnamese businesses to develop on a par with those in the world. I believe absolutely in the choice of the Party, elected leaders who are thoughtful, capable, cared for development of the country and encouraged business community moving towards a more sustainable development.

* Tran Thanh Trong, Chairman of Provincial Electromechanical Association:

As a party member, I always have a great belief in the Party's choice. Many private enterprises expect that the Party would make decisions, encourage the building of a more favorable and open mechanism for enterprises to contribute and grow. In the new period, it is very important to maintain a policy favoring dialogue and negotiation with businesses. In particular, I hope that the Government, ministries and localities would continue to effectively carry out activities connecting domestic enterprises with foreign enterprises, improving capabilities to help domestic enterprises join the global supply chain. Since then, the capacity of Vietnamese enterprises would be further improved.

* Nguyen Liem, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Wood Export Association:

We, business community, are not afraid of difficulties, miseries, and be willing to embark on a new path to reach the great sea. We hope the Party and State would continue to arouse the national entrepreneurial culture, create an open and equal playing field that have clear standards for businesses to develop and devote themselves for the country. I hope that in the coming time, Vietnam would further complete legal system, helping businesses promote their role.

* Pham Van Xo, Chairman of Bing Duong Import and Export Association:

The business community expects free trade agreements signed by Vietnam to be extensively implemented. Administrative procedures continue to be simplified, difficulties solved, creating favorable conditions for businesses to access capital with the most reasonable interest rates, favorable for production and export activities.

* Nguyen Son, General Director of Ngoc Son Python - Crocodile Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Leather and Footwear Association:

We expect the Party and Government would continue to innovate and sign more free trade agreements; creating favorable conditions for export businesses. In addition, enterprises expect that problems and difficulties in many areas would be further removed.

* Nguyen Thai Minh Quang, Director of Vietcombank Binh Duong:

Under the leadership of the Party, the support of the people, we believes that in the next term, the country's economy would continue to make strong breakthroughs. Amidst he Covid-19 pandemic affecting the economy and people's lives, I believe that the new Party Central Committee would utilize collective strength, lead the country to overcome difficulties and complete the "dual" task, ensuring the prevention and fighting against epidemics, and completing the socio-economic development targets in the new term.
