On the morning of October 4, Dau Tieng district Steering Committee for collective economic development held a conference to summarise ten-year implementation of Law on Cooperatives 2012 and summarize twenty-year implementation of collective economy according to Resolution 13-NQ/TW dated March 18th 2002.

During 2001-2021 period, with the support of the province, Dau Tieng district effectively established and put into operation many collective economic models, created significant changes in the socio-economic appearance of the district. Accordingly, up to now, the district has now 44 cooperative groups, including 31 agricultural cooperative groups and 13 non-agricultural cooperatives; 22 cooperatives (including 13 agricultural cooperatives, 1 credit fund cooperative, 1 handicraft cooperative, 1 transportation cooperative, 1 construction cooperative and 5 commerce-service cooperatives).

Huynh Van Dan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Dau Tieng District Party Committee, said that in order to facilitate the development of collective economy, the Party and government of Dau Tieng district directed functional branches to actively support and assist residents to participate in collective economic models, especially innovative economic models with high economic efficiency. In the coming time, the district will continue to increase support for collective economic models to improve product quality, grow business and expand product consumption markets in order to elevate Dau Tieng brand name to national and international level.
