The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with VCCI on May 10 announced official information on the World Economic Forum (WEF) on East Asia 2010 to be held at the HCMC from June 6-7.
About 400-500 delegates representing economic leaders of ASEAN, Australia, New Zealand, India, Northeast Asia, EU, US and experts, scholars, leaders of int’l organizations and big groups’ leaders will join in the event. The State President Nguyen Minh Triet and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will have speeches at the conference.
Vu Quang Minh, head of the economic general department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said WEF themed ‘enhancing the Asia’s leadership role’ will focus on 4 main contents of the Asia’s leadership role, global risks, and green growth program. This is a big chance for Vietnamese business community to approach latest information of the global economy.
