Nearly 150 officials and civil servants from districts of Di An, Thuan An, and provincial Insurance have attended an ISO 9001:2008 awareness training course co-sponsored by Department of Science and Technology and Di An Authority.

The course helps attendees with understanding of quality control under ISO standard and its benefits in launching TCVN ISO 9001:2001 specifically for State’s administrative body. The course is opened for the second time so as to synchronize the management system with ISO 9001:2008 across public administrative organizations.

According to one project approved by People’s Committee, by the end of the year, some 54 organizations will be certified with ISO 9001:2008. Up to date, in the whole province, 28 bodies have been certified with this ISO while only 10 of them been certified with ISO 9001:2008.
