Paper prices see sudden increase

Paper prices have seen sudden increase at US$200/ton (equivalent to VND4mln/ton) due to the serious scarcity of paper powder materials in the world.

Argentina is currently the world biggest paper powder provider, but it has seen decrease in output of paper powder and even announced to temporarily stop supplying paper powder material, due to forest fire last month. Whilst, the world has seen the increasing demand for paper products. It is predicted that paper prices will be stabilized right after Argentina solves the consequences caused by forest fire.
