Provincial Department of Industry and Trade worked with nine districts, towns, cities and three relevant departments to implement Decision No. 4112/QD- People's Committee dated 31 Dec 2019 approving the project to adjust and develop the petroleum trading network of Binh Duong province by 2030. Accordingly, Department of Industry and Trade asked district People's Committees to review and update land use planning, construction planning for existing petroleum stores and new approved investment projects; notify enterprises to do self-assessment and overcome their limitations on petroleum trading conditions.

In 2020, Department of Industry and Trade appraised 59 applications for certificates of petroleum business. In which, 25 certificates of petroleum retailer were granted, 11 certificates of modification or supplement, 1 certificate was re-issued, 1 certificate of petroleum retailer, 1 certificate of general petroleum retailer. Department of Industry and Trade returned 20 records to complete and overcome store's limitations.
