The Provincial People's Committee issued the Decision on the regulation of breeding density in Binh Duong province until 2030. This Decision takes effect from September 1, 2020. Subjects of application are Vietnamese and foreign organizations and individuals involved in livestock production activities in Binh Duong province.
Breeding density in the province by 2030 does not exceed 1.5 livestock units per 1 ha of agricultural land, in which the breeding density of districts, towns and cities directly under: Thu Dau Mot city, not more than 0.07 livestock units per 1 ha of agricultural land; Thuan An city: not more than 0.04 livestock units per 1 hectare of agricultural land; Di An city must not exceed 0.03 livestock units per 1 ha of agricultural land; Tan Uyen town does not exceed 0.15 livestock units per 1 ha of agricultural land; Ben Cat town does not exceed 0.08 livestock units per 1 ha of agricultural land; Bac Tan Uyen district does not exceed 1.04 livestock units per 1 ha of agricultural land; Phu Giao district does not exceed 2.33 livestock units per 1 ha of agricultural land; Dau Tieng district does not exceed 1.47 livestock units per 1 ha of agricultural land; Bau Bang district does not exceed 2.19 livestock units per 1 ha of agricultural land.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development was assigned to guide, monitor and inspect the implementation of this regulation in localities; assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with concerned units in, submitting to the provincial People's Committee for consideration, amendment and supplementation of breeding density of livestock breeding areas in the province in case of necessity.
