In the first nine months of 2021, the total retail sales of goods and services in Ben Cat town reached more than VND 34,000 billion, increasing by 15.25% over the same period. The commodity market ensures the essential consumption needs of the people, especially during the recent stressful Covid-19 epidemic. During the implementation of social distancing, Ben Cat town has flexibly coordinated and supported the transportation of essential goods to serve the people and timely provided for the quarantine and treatment areas.

Along with that, the management and control of the market has been paid attention by the town to regularly and promptly handle violations, contributing to stabilize the commodity market in the area. Thereby, 23 cases of violations have been sanctioned with a total fine of nearly VND 116 million and confiscated goods was worth about VND 29 million.
