SetiaBecamex, a joint venture between SP Setia, Malaysia's biggest property developer and Vietnam’s State-owned Becamex IDC Corp in Ben Cat district started construction of the EcoLakes project at My Phuoc IP one year ago. So far, the urban project has initially upheld its effectiveness. On the first anniversary of SetiaBecamex, Khoo Teck Chong, General Director of SetiaBecamex told Binh Duong Daily about the success of the Ecolakes project. He said:

Could you tell about SetiaBecamex’s achievements in detail?

Our first achievement was to successfully introduce an unique overall planning scheme of EcoLakes to the domestic real estate market. Noticeably, the EcoLakes Show Village is now the first and only one of Vietnam…

What about SetiaBecamex’s community activities?

Over the past year, we actively got involved in community activities, including the contest on making the longest drawing depicting the key events at the Ecolakes Show Village, the “World Environment Day”, the kite-flying festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, music shows…We also organized many music shows for the community and clients; visited and presented gifts to families having orphans, disabled children and lonely elderly…

Which measures will SetiaBecamex step up to keep the growth pace done last year?

We believe that 2010 is a good year for everyone as economy gradually recover. We want to further uphold our achievements done last year via advertising and promotion activities full of creativeness. Two attractive promotion programs to boost our sales will be also implemented….
