According to Economic Office of Thuan An City, in the first quarter of 2021, total retail sales of goods and services was more than 18,350 billion VND, up 14.26% YOY and completed 20.52% target set by Party Resolution. The city now has about 36,200 household businesses, 6 supermarkets, 7 shopping centers, 22 conventional markets.

The total value of goods in reserve for Lunar New Year 2021 market stabilization program in the city was more than 225 billion VND. In order to be proactive in balancing goods serving the people's shopping and consumption demand, stabilizing prices of essential goods, the city's Economic Office regularly cooperates with People's Committees of communes, wards, and management boards of markets to set up plans and arrange more sales locations.
