Binh Duong provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 2211/QD-UBND to approve the architecture of e-Government version 2.0 of Binh Duong province. Accordingly, the version 2.0 was built to establish the basis and orientation for the process of building e-Government in Binh Duong province towards a digital government, a digital society and a digital economy, contributing to improving increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation of State agencies in the province; to increase publicity and transparency of information and provide better public services to people and businesses. The basic components of the e-Government architecture version 2.0 of Binh Duong province include interactive systems of users, data and application communication channels, technology, safety information, direction and policies, and external systems.

To ensure the e-Government architecture version 2.0 in Binh Duong province is effectively deployed, in 2020-2022, the province will focus on perfecting the platforms for e-government implementation; on step-by-step application of information technology in administrative reforms, improving the satisfaction level of citizens and businesses with the government of Binh Duong province. In 2023-2025, they focus on developing and perfecting information systems and databases to effectively serve the professional systems of State agencies in Binh Duong province based on the application of products, services, and technological solutions of the 4^th industrial revolution; at the same time, they aim to improve efficiency and transparency in providing public services to organizations and individuals in the province.
