Cau mountain eco-tourism site, Thai Son pagoda absorbs more pilgrims

 

On the annual Full-Moon Festival of the Lunar First Month, the Cau Mountain-Dau Tieng Reservoir Eco-Tourism Site and Thai Son pagoda in Dinh Thanh commune, about 7km from the center of Dau Tieng district lure many pilgrims from other localities.

Tran Tong Dinh, Head of Dau Tieng district’s Division of Culture and Information said that the number of visitors traveling to the eco-tourism site and the pagoda during this festival has increased compared to the previous years. They welcome nearly 8,000 visitors every day. Currently, there are more than 100 eateries and souvenir booths along with the two sides of the road to the gate of the pagoda.

The order and security situation around Thai Son pagoda has been remained stable since Tet, according to Dang Thanh Cong, Head of Dinh Thanh commune’s Policy Agency.
